About the practitioner, Certified Colon Hydrotherapist,
Cecilia Leibovitz

After learning I had chronic Lyme Disease in 2012, and later mold toxicity, I tried many different types of treatment with various health practitioners over a period of about ten years. After some trials and tribulations, I found that healthy plant-based eating, combined with colon hydrotherapy has worked better than anything else for me.

Using hydrotherapy along with greatly increasing my fresh fruit and vegetable intake, I started to release a large number of parasites, that I had no idea I even had; shortly after, I was surprised to find that about 80% of my mold illness symptoms had subsided. As long as I keep on track with good habits, my health continues to improve and my symptoms are almost non-existent.

My personal success with gravity colonics inspired me to study colon hydrotherapy with Helen Wood at the Wood Hygienic Institute, so that I could help others to improve their well-being through colonics.

Before deciding on the Wood Gravity Method of colonics, I researched the experiences of various colon therapists and their clients. I had read about enemas and colonics over the years since I was a teenager, as I have had a lifelong interest in holistic health. I received treatment with several different colon cleansing therapists, so that I could understand more about the various types of colonics. I chose the Wood method because I found it to be the gentlest type of hydrotherapy with the greatest results. It is the only therapy that uses the properties of gravity with no machines or mechanical stimulation whatsoever, to cleanse the colon and strengthen the body’s natural peristalsis.

I have served as colon therapist at the BodyMind retreat in Ithaca, NY and am pleased to now be offering gravity colonics at my practice in Hardwick, Vermont.
